To communicate with the Flight Simulator the Client needs FSUIPC3 if you have FS2002 or FS9 installed and FSUIPC4 if you have FSX without SP2 installed. With FSX and SP2 no additional tool is required, the native FSX interface 'SimConnect' is used then.

The Client is our flight monitoring and reporting tool which needs to be running during your flight on FSAirlines.net. While it's main purpose is to collect all the data needed for a detailed flight report it has a lot of features which will enhance your overall flightsimming experience:

  • automatic aircraft refueling
  • aircraft type check
  • system failures (in dependance of the aircraft's current state)
  • flight rating (following realworld rules)
  • automatic PIREP upload (you can fly online or offline)

To communicate with the Flight Simulator the Client needs some additional tools.

Requirements

Depending on the Flight Simulator version, the Client needs an additional (free) tool to communicate with the Flight Simulator:

FS Client Requirements
Microsoft Flight Simulator 9 Any FSUIPC3 (3.82 or higher)
Microsoft Flight Simulator X Standalone FSUIPC4 (4.30 or higher) or Flight Simulator X Service Pack 2
Microsoft Flight Simulator X Plugin Flight Simulator X Service Pack 2
X-Plane 9 Any No additional tool required
